Queer Exposure is so excited to feature a Mother bartender/ photographer- Mara Hightman. You might know them from hosting Drink N Draw every Tuesday, and you might be in one of their featured photos!
after hours by Mara Hightman is a collection of 35mm photos that highlight and show the perspective of queer bartenders and service industry workers in the Bay Area.
These images are super imposed with and shown alongside the overlooked and seemingly insignificant corners of Oakland and San Francisco.
QUEER EXPOSURE is a monthly photo slideshow at MOTHER featuring queer photographers. The slideshow screens on a loop all night on the reception date, and then is featured in our rotating visuals for the month until the next show.
